I really like shooting these Savage 114Ultra and the .280 and thus shoot them often and have high confidence using them when hunting. I picked up my Savage 114Ultra in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Oldtown. My favorite rifle is everything made by Savage. I ordered my Savage 114Ultra in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Oldtown, North Carolina.
My favorite caliber is the 257 Roberts followed closely by the 300 Weatherby magnum. My friend (Garrett) said his favorite caliber is the 300 Weatherby magnum he got at a NWTF banquet last season. The best shooting caliber for me is the 300 Weatherby magnum because it has the best combo of power and speed to make it the most versatile for the different types of game in North Carolina. My favorite caliber is probably the 300 Weatherby magnum from Bass Pro Shops in Oldtown.
My grandfather bought it at a gun show in Oldtown many many years ago. i've had the Savage about ten years and it's in very good condition. My friends and I like the 257 Roberts best for deer hunting.
