I got my Remington 270 Win online at Cabelas. My friends and I like the 270 Win best for deer hunting.
My dad said his favorite caliber is the 257 Weatherby Magnum he got at a NWTF banquet last season. I got my Remington 257 Weatherby Magnum last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Plum City. The best caliber just for deer hunting in the woods of WI though is the 270 Win, followed by the 257 Weatherby Magnum. One thing I don't like is that it cannot fire as fast as the 257 Weatherby Magnum.
There is a new edition of my new Remington Model 7-LS with the birchwood chambered in 270 Win and 257 Weatherby Magnum.
