I got my Ruger 257 Weatherby Magnum at the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Algonquin. I picked up my Ruger No. 1-B in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Algonquin. The best caliber is the 300 Magnum I got in Algonquin.
My Dad's favorite caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a 257 Weatherby Magnum. I like shooting these Ruger No. 1-B and the .280 and thus shoot them often and have high confidence using them when hunting. One thing I don't like is that the Ruger doesn't have a detachable magazine. Leon got his Ruger last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Algonquin.
Our favorite rifle is the 257 Weatherby Magnum I picked up online at the NRA store. My favorite rifle is my new Ruger No. 1-B with the black walnut chambered in 300 Magnum and 257 Weatherby Magnum.
