My all-time favorite hunt was for pronghorn antelope in Wyoming, but my favorite trip was fishing in Alaska. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 338 Win Mag from Bass Pro Shops in Ottumwa. I got my Savage 308 Win. online at Cabelas. My mom's favorite rifle is my new Savage 110FP with the checkered maple chambered in 308 Win. and 338 Win Mag.
My dad got his rifle at the sporting goods counter of my local retailer in Ottumwa some three years ago. My all-time favorite hunting rifle is my Savage 110FP 338 Win Mag with a checkered maple stock. I used to like oil finish checkered maple stocks and high gloss blue 308 Win. barrels. The best shooting caliber for deer and larger game is 338 Win Mag and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 308 Win.. My friends and I like the 308 Win. best for deer hunting.
