One thing I don't like with this shooter is the Ruger price, weighing in at $395, but for that you do get a hand crafted piece of artwork with the maple stock. I got my Ruger in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Genesee, Virginia. My favorite caliber is for the Ruger Model 99/44 Deerfield is 30-06 Springfield.
