My Mom's favorite caliber for me is the 458 Win Mag because it has the best combo of power and speed to make it the most versatile for the different types of game in Wisconsin. A minor problem with the Marlin is the heavy recoil of the round. I bought the rifle at a pawn shop in Toccopola that's had the Marlin for at least several weeks. There is a new edition of my new Marlin 1895 with the checkered tigerwood chambered in 25-06 and 458 Win Mag. I picked up my Marlin 1895 in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Toccopola.
