My mom's favorite rifle is my new Savage 116FFS with the laminated birch chambered in 257 Roberts and .303 British. My brother's favorite deer rifle (when hunting in New Hampshire) is a .303 British. Our favorite rifle is the .303 British I picked up online at the NRA store. I like the the 257 Roberts best for deer hunting.
The best shooting caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a .303 British. My favorite caliber is the .303 British.
My all-time favorite rifle is the Savage 116FFS I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in La Veta. For deer hunting I like oil finish laminated birch stocks and high gloss blue 257 Roberts barrels. My favorite caliber is probably the .303 British from Bass Pro Shops in La Veta.
My friend (Randal) said his favorite caliber is the .303 British he got at a NWTF banquet last season. I got my Savage .303 British at the Wiley Outdoor Sports in La Veta. I got my Savage 116FFS in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in La Veta. My grandfather bought it at a gun show in La Veta many many years ago. i've had the Savage about ten years and it's in very good condition.

Randal got his Savage last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in La Veta. I got my Savage in the hunting section at Gart Sports in La Veta, New Hampshire.
One issue with the .303 British barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Savage. My mom got her .303 British online at Cabelas.
