There is a new edition of my new Marlin 336C with the checkered black walnut chambered in 7 Mag and 300 Win Mag. I like the the 7 Mag best for deer hunting. My best friends' favorite deer/bear gun is the Marlin 336C chambered for 300 Win Mag.
My favorite caliber is a tossup between the 300 Win Mag and 7 Mag. Trenton got his Marlin last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Armstrong. I got my Marlin 7 Mag online at Cabelas. I like to shoot the Marlin 336C and I have become very familiar with it.
